ADC 2025 · Accra, Ghana
Shifting Minds, Inspiring Action.
The continent’s high-level gathering on learning differences brought education leaders, policymakers, researchers, business professionals, health professionals, youth advocates and parents together for two days in Accra to talk about how Africa can better support people with dyslexia and related learning differences.

Where the movement gathered.
In many parts of Africa, children and adults with dyslexia and other learning differences struggle at school and at work because most systems don’t yet understand how they learn. That can lead to teasing, dropping out and missed opportunities later in life.
ADC 2025 set out to change that narrative, acting as a catalyst for policy reform, education transformation and workforce inclusion. With UNESCO and UNICEF as strategic partners, it placed learning differences firmly within wider conversations on literacy equity, social justice and inclusive growth.
